Terms of Service

1. The service

MedixHive is a marketplace where hospitals, recruiters and healthcare professionals post and apply for locum and permanent roles. MedixHive is not the employer of any professional and is not a party to the engagement agreed between a facility and a professional.

2. Accounts and verification

• You must give accurate information and keep your login secure.
• Professionals must hold a valid licence from the relevant council (MDCN, NMCN, PCN, MLSCN, MRTB or RRBN) and upload genuine documents. Uploading false documents leads to immediate suspension and may be reported to the relevant council and authorities.
• Verification confirms that documents appeared genuine when reviewed. Facilities remain responsible for their own credential checks required by law.

3. Jobs, offers and shifts

• Job posts must state the facility, location, date, time and pay accurately, in figures.
• Accepting an offer or claiming an urgent shift is a commitment to attend. Facilities record attendance, which forms part of your shift history and reliability score.
• Pay is agreed and settled between the facility and the professional unless MedixHive states otherwise.

4. Medpoints and subscriptions

• Medpoints are used to apply to jobs and to invite professionals directly. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not refundable once spent.
• Plans run for the billing period you pay for and do not renew automatically. Prices are shown before payment.
• If a payment fails or is reversed we may remove medpoints or plan benefits granted for it.

5. Referrals

Referral rewards are earned when someone who signed up with your code is verified. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and fake sign-ups are not allowed and rewards may be withheld.

6. Conduct

Be professional in chat and chat rooms. Harassment, discrimination, sharing patient-identifiable information, spam and asking for payment to access jobs are prohibited. Use the report tools to flag problems.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put patients, professionals or facilities at risk. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, MedixHive is not liable for the conduct of users, the outcome of any engagement, or indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
